I have a contract with MTN. On the 13th of February 2013 I handed my cellphone in for repairs at the Uitenhage branch, seeing that my Blackberry Trackpad was giving problems. On the 27th of February 2013 I received a phonecall from the branch advising me that my phone is ready for collection. Upon collection, I noted that NOTHING was done on my phone and that the cursor / trackpad was still not working. Taking the phone back the same day, they had to resubmit / book it in for repairs once again.

This morning, 12 March 2013, I decided to follow up on the progress at the Uitenhage branch upon which I was advised that they only sent in my phone for repairs the previous day (11 March 2013) due to a "system error". This is unacceptable; one whole month without my phone which I need for business purposes and they don't even have the decency to update me on the progress.

The poor quality on service, or rather the lack of any service, is completely unacceptable. This is not how a client with a TWO YEAR CONTRACT with their offices should be treated. I'm looking forward for my contract to expire so that I can move to another service provider. I'm deeply disappointed.
