Took out a contract at MTN on 19/04/2013 for the Sony Xperia V.I have waited a while to get this phone but I am highly disappointed in the service received. The phone stopped working on the 10/08/2013 while I was on holiday in another province. I was left without a phone to use during this period. I went to Hemingway's MTN on the 16/08/2013 and after waiting for half an hour in a queue I was assisted. I booked the phone in and was told I would receive communication regarding the date my phone will be ready for collection. I called MTN on the 28/08/2013 to find out the progress on my phone. They said my phone is ready, highly disappointed I had to call to find out about my phone. I collected the phone on the 29/08/2013 after waiting 20 minutes in the queue. I went home and switched the phone on and it was working. Friday morning 30/08/2013 the phone was not switching on AGAIN! I no longer want this faulty device. The service consultant asked me if I want to book it in repairs again. I said NO, I want this phone to be replaced! Who will pay for my petrol to drive 118 km twice? And my calls to MTN, parking fees. I am paying for a phone which I cannot even use!
