Disgruntled Custome

Telecommunications

I booked in my Blackberry 9300 on the 19th Jan 2013 at Autopage Mayfair as the "A" button was faulty and did this as the phone was still under warranty. I was told the phone will be ready for collection after 4 weeks which was the 19th February. I called in to the Mayfair branch who advised me that the phone will only be ready after 2 weeks which totals up to 6 weeks.

On the 8th March I went into the shop to find out if my phone has come back and was advised that the phone is still with the repair centre and this was booked in on the 31st Jan 2013 and to date nothing has been done on the phone as yet. Today I receive a sms notifying me it costs R471.00 to fix the phone as they have picked up more problems. The reason is the warranty has since lapsed while being at the repair centre and now I get charged for faults of which I have no knowledge of.

I refuse to pay for this as I booked the phone whilst under waranty and only have knowledge of the "A" button being faulty, which means that I'll be getting my phone back with problems not caused by myself but the repair centre which was suppose to repair the phone, instead they cause more damage. I AM MAD
