Treated like a criminal for ONE payment

I've been an MTN contrcact subscriber since 2006. I recently missed my payment due to a huge issue at my bank with an unauthorised debit order going off my account. The issue was only resolved (money refunded) this Saturday, 9th March. My service was suspended from today. My wife went to the MTN Cresta store to pay my R100.00 Subscribtion R60.00 BIS. She was told I need to make a double payment, yet I'm sitting with 2 text messages from MTN threathening legal action if I do not pay R169.40 immediately.

Given the above... I would like to say, very well done to MTN for treating a customer who's been loyal to you for the last 6 years the way you are. First you threathen with legal action, & when I want to pay (amount specified by you), there's a change in the amount. On top of it all I'm not even able to call any of the MTN toll free numbers (555, 173 ect) as my service is suspended. I AM UTTERLY DISGUSTED FOR BEING TREATED LIKE A CRIMINAL EVEN THOUGH IT'S THE 1ST TIME I MISSED A PAYMENT IN THE 6 YEARS AS AN MTN CUSTOMER... Will definately not be renewing this contract MTN...
