CANCELLING OF ACCOUNTS

Today I called in to cancel 2 of my numbers of which contracts has ended in January 2013 but I was still billed for in Feb 2013.
I was then told that this cancelation process would take upto 30 days which then means I will be billed in Mar 2013 as well! Ridiculous I think!!!
I then cancelled my other number as well, due to that contract ending in Feb 2013 and I do not want to be billed in April 2013 as well,

My feeling on this situation is that MTN should start sending out notices to their customers reminding them that their contract numbers will be coming to an end soon and they should call their service provisder as I was told its the customers responsibility to inform MTN of cancellation even though the contracts stipulates 2 YEARS!!!

Also, if the consultants in the MTN stores could inform first time clients of this cancellation process then I am sure there wont be another client complaining about this matter!

PS. I am trully sorry to the girl I spoke to earlier with regards to this matter, as I know its not her stupid company, its actually just her employer.
