Non repair on blackberry 9800

My cellphone went in for repairs in september 2012. I was told that the cellphone had a hardware problem and mtn gave me refurbished replacement phone. Not long after I received the phone it started giving me problems. I decided to keep using the replacement phone as I could not be without my phone for another few weeks. Eventually the phone became so problematic that I had to take it in for repairs. I took the phone in for repairs in january 2013. I received a call from mtn waterfront telling me that the phone was not repaired as it is water damaged. I do not understand this as the phone never touched water in any way. I took this up with mtn but all they are telling me is that the phone is water damaged and won't be repaired. I feel that I am being cheated out of my phone. When emailling mtn I also mentioned of how the staff member that helped me when I took my phone in told me that the refurbished phones are very problematic. They can't even say how the water entered the phone. The person that was responding to my complaints has now decided to ignore my emails. What I find strange is how many people complain of this same thing here on hellopeter. I just want my phone repaired
