My iphone4 S have been losing its signal on a frequent basis, and I decided to take it to the repairs department in Vodacom Tygervalley. They told me that the phone must be sent up to Johannesburg to be check what the problem is. On the same day I sent it up I heard from at LEAST 4 people that their iphones are having problems on the Vodacom network, and that they have complained numerous times.

Yesterday I received an sms saying that they are going to charge me R2962.86 to "repair" my phone and have the audacity to tell me there is water damage on my phone!!!

My phone NEVER had any damage before I sent it up, and certainly never came close to any water. It was just losing its signal from time to time, now suddenly out of nowhere it has water damage??
Then they have the arrogance to tell me the warranty is not valid because there is water damage!

I have never experienced such corrupt statements in my life, this is abselutely unacceptable, and I cannot believe that an organization like Vodacom can use these types of strategies and just pass the blame to the customer.

Very dissapointed, and really at a lack of words.
