Vodacom does not come through

I contacted Vodacom since my contract was about to expire and in Tshipise we dont have any signal at all, I requested whether it would be possible to install a booster since this was done for my neighbor at no cost, they informed me they would look into it and let me know in two to three weeks, full of hope I renewed my vodacom contract just to be told a week later that they dont think they can assist me. now I am stuck with a contract for another two years. I didn't even think of asking one of the other providers since I have been a vodacom subscriber and was one of the first people to own a 5200 motorola when cellphones came out but apparently that is not in their moto. is there a way I can cancel this contract or get Vodacom to the table. i believe there is a rumour going around that they can't afford to maintain their equiptment maybe that is why they can't help a person
