I logged a complaint on Hello Peter 4 weeks ago, a lady by the name of Risheen responded to my complaint, I told her I am unhappy with Vodacom's service, since then Vodacom failed to produce a copy of my "contract", I explained that in terms of a contract both parties have obligations, but it seems that the Vodacom contract is one sided, it only protects Vodacom, if a customer is unhappy with their service, there is no way to cancel the contract without the customer paying for "premature cancellation", which means the only person who looses out is the customer, even if you can prove that they did not fulfil their obligation in terms of the contract. I have been with Vodacom for 18 years and I am fed-up with the high rates for data, data balances that just disappears with no explanation of where it went and the fact that Cell C and other providers offers better rates and packages. I asked in the 1st week after being contacted by Risheen that my" so called contract that does not exist" be cancelled, but 4 weeks later I am no closer to a resolution. I had to buy a new phone, because I had to hand my BB Z10 in to Vodacom to" review", which cost me R9 000, I am so sick of this saga!
