NON EXISTENT OR INTERMITTENT INTERNET SERVICE

I have a Broadband Lite contract with MTN and for the first 6 months the service provided was perfect. The service I currently receive is intermittent and non existent after 19h00 in the evenings as well as over weekends. After numerous calls to the call centre, changing all settings, identifying that the signal is perfect as it has been since the beginning of the contract, I was informed that the fact that I don't have internet access is due to congestion in other words too many people using the internet at that time.

I logged a complaint via the website but have not been contacted yet.

I signed up for a contract providing a service that I pay for. I am not receiving this service. Why should I keep to my side of the contract if the service provider, MTN, does not honour their side of the contract, by delivering the service I was promised.

I am extremely unhappy about the service I receive and I would like to warn others against this before they sign up for a contract as the service that they would receive is not what they were promised.
