Cell C not keeping me in loop and taking too long

I purchased a Samsung P3100 on the 8th February 2013. After utlizing it, I noticed it was freezing and slow after prolonged usage. I then returned it on the 11th February 2013 and requested that I didnt want any longer and that as it didnt work to resonable expecatations I would rather cancel the contract. I was advised that it be booked in for assessment fr an OBF and that it shouldnt take more than 7 working days. It is now the 20th of Febraury and is the 10th day. I need to findout if the OBF was approved and that the contract can be cancelled so that Im not debited for serivces Im not recieving and secondly so that I can undertake taking out another contract. The delays is ultimately delaying me in this process and Im also due a refund on the connection fee as Im not using the Cell C service and stuck with a sim card Im not utilizing.
Please can someone attend to this and let me know when this can be resolved. I need a way forward and a speedy response please.
