I have been with Vodacom for close on 20 years, and have 5 contracts with them. I used to have a good signal where I live, but for the past four years or more I have struggled with an intermittent signal that comes and goes. Vodacom did, after many complaints, come and install a booster which never ever worked, not even for one day. The day after it was installed, I reported no change to Vodacom, but was told that; "that's impossible" the technician says it is fine, even though I asked, the installation was never even checked for faults. Their technician's word was taken above mine, their customer. Nothing has ever been done since, to sort my problem out. My great frustration is that their managers are totally unapproachable and shield themselves behind consultants, technicians and the like. When calling customer care and asking for a manager, you are told that they are busy, I have tried telling them that I will hang on, they have then put me on hold for like 5 minutes or longer. These consultants have made numerous promises to resolve this problem but none have ever materialised. My disgust in Vodacom's poor management continues.
