Bad Service All Round

I recently opened an iPad contract on my existing contract (I believe it's called an "Add-Sim" or something similar) and was told I would be notified when it was approved. I wasn't notified, but found out on my own accord. Today I went into the store to collect the iPad. I was told that internet would be working shortly.
I got home from the MTN branch, and the iPad said "No Service" in the top corner. So I phoned and was told that one of the ladies would phone customer care and get back to me. After half an hour of no response, I phoned back and asked for her, only to find out that she was on her lunch break.
I then asked to speak to anybody who could help me with the iPad. The man on the line told me to hold on, and five minutes later, when I was still holding on, the call failed. Nobody tried to get hold of me, so I tried phoning back, only to receive no answer at all.
Completely unsatisfied with the shocking service.
