Vodacom sales consultant provides incorrect info!!

On the 8th Sept Pierre Schulz assisted me with the set up of a new Apple Ipad - which I had with me in store. He advised me that I needed a data sim (had the Ipad with me - told him l had no knowledge on the product &that I was reliant on his expertise-showed him the ipad) Signed a mygig2 data contract only to find that the Ipad I had won was for wifi use only. Contacted Pierre the very next day 9th to inform him and enquire about my options only to be told that I had no alt but to continue with the data contract. The sim was not even active yet - recieved an activation message on the 10th. He contacted me on 11th to advise that he was not at fault even though he recommended to me that this is what I needed to set up the Ipad. I asked him if he was the manager of the store and he confirmed that he was, I then found out the day after that he infact is not the manager, left a message for the store manager to contact me and still have not recieved a call back. I am livid by the fact that such a huge telecommunications company (of whom I have been a life long customer) is not able to convert this contract to a wifi contract! And this when I notified him even before the sim was active.
