December 2012 I applied for a Telkom line package deal with an adsl line. It was arranged to be installed on the 02/01/13 only thing is Telkom got the house information wrong on the computer not the address that I supplied to them and made a new point available for the wrong house! On the day of the 2nd of Jan a technician contacted me that he was coming to install my line he then wanted to confirm the right address with me, which I immediately noticed was incorrect! He then came to where I stay and said that he can no longer install the line because they made thepoint available for the wrong house he will log the problem and I will be contacted regarding what to do next. Also he was very quick to tell me that I have to drill a hole in my wall so I can make his job easier to get the line into my flat, because he is not prepared to climb in my roof to install it apparently because and I quote his exact words "Telkom wont pay for my hospital bills if I fall and hurt myself" I went and complained at the local branch after not being contacted for 2 weeks! only to find out I had to start my application all over again. Apparently I have to wait until the 25th Feb now to get my line!
