Good morning,

I applied for the Telkom R399 ADSL internet special on the 15th of March. Before applying I asked the Telkom staff at the Telkom DIrect store at Cape Gate whether everything would be in order for me to have ADSL installed at my house/ address. I was informed that it would be no problem at all - a technicial would come install the line and within 7 working days thereafter another technician would come and bring the modem once the ADSL line is activated. When following up at the same store on the 6th of April I was informed that there is no ADSL line currently available for my address and it could take months for me to have ADSL.

I am SO frustrated having already signed up for the contract, having bought a phone, having had a telephone line activated in my house and now being informed that it could take months. I am really hoping that Telkom would make a plan to still get my line connected as soon as possible.
