Late last year i received an sms from VODACOM stating that my number had been changed to a contract. I immediately contacted their customer service where a young lady advised me to block my line (which she did) and send an afidavit through to confirm that i never changed my prepaid line to a contract line. I did that and waited for Vodacom to rectify the issue. I would send follow-up emails to which one of thier SENIOR CONSULTANTS (Lesley Abels) mentioned that she had escalated the issue and will get back to me when she has feedback, til then there has been no feedback from vodacom. Anyway, three days ago i received another sms stating that i had not paid an amount of R500 so my services will be disconnected. I call customer care today and guess what, my number already belongs to someone else!!! How does that work when i used my details to RICA the line??? Calling the customer care line seems to be a waste of time for it is now over 6 months repeating myself to these consultants. This is poor service and it should be dealt with accordingly.By who i wonder, seeing that the senior consultants themselves do not keep their word.
