Can't get thru to the 3G department

My 3G card and plug and play was. I went into Mweb to get a sim swap (Done). They told me i have to buy the devise from an MNet store (Done). I now can't connect to the internet AND I have waitied a total of 45 minutes (8 then 15 via my cell - 15 then 7 via land line). That is a bit much for somebody to help me or to tell me what I must do. If we have to wait that long, then I am wondering why is there so many people that have problem. Am I with the wrong supplier???
