Follow up to REQ:1746385

Telecommunications

I previously logged a complaint regarding my damaged OBF phone that to date has not been sorted out. I received an email from MTN's Nomonde (on 11/02/2013 with REQ: 1746385) advising that I was told to send my IMEI number for reference 1659521, which I have emailed on 31/01/2013 to Humbulani Nedane but no action was taken. MTN is quick to look at what must still be done but don't follow up on what was sent in to assist and I gave everything that was required.

I am still with a phone that I cannot use, since I purchased it the BIS could not work and it's not the SIM card but the handset. I have proof that I took it in within the 7 days but MTN advised me I was wait and give it time to activate, now I am sitting with a problem that MTN says I never returned the phone within the 7 day period which is untrue because when returning the phone on day 5 the MTN agent never checked the whole phone, she just assumed it's activation and the SIM card that's the problem. I am so tired and disgusted that I have to go through this with a supposed telecommunications specialist in SA. No client services what so ever and for the second month in a row I am paying for a service that I am not using.
