In December I took out a data contract; since then I have had nothing but issues. I have been charged double the connection fees of R114. I was told this would be credited to my account. My statement shows the credit, but when I called into the Cell C call centre to query the deductions, i was told i was charged another connection fee of R100. The agent told me that she did not see the initial connection fee I had paid twice, of R114.

My January statement does not at all match the two deductions that was made to my account 1) R333.66 and 2) R98.99. The call centre agent herself could not understand what was going on on the statement! My statment also shows the stick being topped up with 1057 MB this month, when in fact we are on a 2 GB contract.

The product itself is also unsatisfactory. We were told that the signal in the Kuils River area would be strong. On the contrary, the connection is very poor. The strength of the signal is so poor that despite the router connecting to the PC, we are unable to fully load most web pages. This is the main purpose of the purchase.

I would therefore like to end the contract with immediate effect.
