Ever since I had my ADSL installed, I've had intermittent connectivity issues. Recently I was told by a colleague who experienced the same issue, that in his case it was caused by faulty wiring inside his house. I was told that it was due to me being far from the exchange box, although my neighbour does not have these issues. As such I logged a ticket on the 5th of Feb in this regard requesting that a technician come to my house.
When I spoke to WebAfrica support on the phone I told them that it was REALLY urgent, as I have online meetings with our US based clients every night for the next 2x weeks, and that the line was worse than usual. Wednesday came and went, so I phoned again and escalated the ticket. Thursday came and went, so I phoned again. The weekend came and went, so on Sunday I phoned AGAIN.
Now, Monday has come and gone, and still nothing. I phoned you guys during lunch hour, and was promised a call back by 17:00, and nothing happened. I'm tired of apologizing to clients for my unstable connection. As I told WebAfrica support on Sunday, you have until EOD Tuesday 12th Feb to fix this. On Wednesday I cancel my contract and move to another ISP.
