Pathetic Service and no feedback! Pass the buck

On the 1st of Feb 2013, I went to upgrade my contract, I received a Samsung Galaxy S3, and had to do a sim swop.

My network stopped around 5PM on Friday the 1st of FEB, and on Saturday the 2nd it was still off. I contacted the call centre and was assured that everything was activated on their end.

Sunday the 3rd I went back to the shop and explained the situation to Jaqueline who could not care less and had a real attitude towards a customer.

They established that the phone was faulty and that it needed to be sent in to confirm, and to be replaced.

Despite the OBF policy of returning a phone within 7 days, I am still without a phone, and still have to phone them to get updates. They are forever promising they will get back to me, but never do.

Surely this is in breach of the consumer protection act, as I have requested to cancel the contract and to rather go to a Vodacom outlet that actually want to help their customers, and that can offer the service expected from a company such as Vodacom.

My request was ignored, and was told they would get back to me. It is now the 11th of Feb, and I am still without a phone. I WANT TO CANCEL THIS CONTRACT!!! You!
