27 Sept 2012 I logged complaint 901986 here, problem in detail again below. Farhaana (REQ:1219175) in response sent me a form to fill in which I did and sent back. Closing in on 6 months later and I am still experiencing ALL the problems mentioned and finding it impossible to get feedback from MTN.

I have raised the issue a while back and still awaiting feedback. Randomly through the day suddenly I have "no service" on my phone, I assume this is due to overloaded infrastructure as when I do have service (Braamfontien) it is very rarely 3G and mostly just edge/worse speeds on data. The big problem with this, other than the annoyance of little/no service is that while I have "no service", people cannot even leave a message on my voicemail, they are just told that the number does not exist on the MTN network, in this day and age where we are so dependant on our cellphones I find this pathetic and unacceptable; and requiring much more urgent attention than the (none?) it is currently receiving.
