I have had numerous faults reported on my ADSL line due to the connection dropping multiple times per day. I eventually ordered a new line and I am still having the same issue. Telkom has had technicians out at my house and they have assured me that the matter is resolved. I have tried 5 ADSL modems yet still no joy. Sync speeds have been dropped and upped again, different ISPs have been tried and I am still suffering. I have a Telkom Business line as I run my business from home. I use Skype and Teamviewer to perform remote support and maintenance and it is beyond a joke now when my internet cuts halfway through a job. It has been happening 2 to 10 times a day. I believe the problem must be at the local Exchange or DSLAM, but I am not an expert on the matter and will rather wait for Telkom to confirm. The only problem is, if I log a fault, the following day I receive an SMS saying that the fault was resolved, without any calls or queries or confirmation.

What can I do? Calling the call centre has wasted at least a day of my time in the last 8 months.
