I joined neotel in 2010 with a 1.5gig bundle at R239 a month, on a month to month basis. A year later they notified me via email that they are changing their service from 1.5gig to 2gig for the same price and asked if I would like to be upgraded, which i did. Now in 2013 I just so happened to go on their website and saw that in fact the 2gig package is going for R99 a month, which means that I have been paying MORE than DOUBLE what the service is worth. I called them to complain and ask why I was NOT notified of the change in tariff and why I have been paying R239 for a service that only costs R99. The responded in first saying that I went over my bundle and paid out-of-bundle charges, which was a as I have NEVER exceeded my bundle. Then they claimed that I still had the 1.5gig package which was R239 a month and that the R99 package has been a new product for a 2gig bundle for the last year or so. What they are doing is, they have been from me every month that the service was R99 and I have been paying more than double that. When i said they were committing and that I want a refund or be credited for those months that i paid extra, they hung up on me!
