MTN TopUp not available on all contract options

On the MTN Website's overview of packages, [URL Removed] it is stated that: MTN AnyTime includes a TopUp option, and that the MTN TopUp package is available on all contract packages.
Apparently this does not apply to any contracts involving a iPhone. At least this is what I was told by the sales consultant at the store. In the y'ello deals for 1- 14 Feb there is also no mention of this anywhere in the booklet.
Either the consultant is not up to date or the information on the Website is out of date.
Whatever the case may be there is conflicting information being given to the public.
I would simply like to know the right information. As a consumer I do not understand why I will not be allowed to manage my account on a product when I am willing to pay the listed contract price simply because of a particular brand.
