NO SATISFACTION AFTER 3 MONTHS

I have had endless problems with a phone contract since 7 November 2013 when I migrated from prepaid to contract.
In essence, I have NEVER had service (airtime / data / sms) and have had to purchase prepaid airtime.
After MANY calls to customer care and visits to Vodacom outlets I finally found out after almost 3 months, from customer services, Somerset West (a most helpful Shaun Adams) that my number 082-2003559 is a number that CANNOT be used for a contract.
It is a "special" number allocated to me when I was with the University of Fort Hare many years' ago.
In a nutshell: my contract has NEVER been activated and cannot ever be.
Hence the application for cancellation of the contract, via the support of customer services at Somerset Mall (Shaun Adams)(Shaun Adams, copied).
I had an email from Blessings Khumalo on 3/2/2014 who said: I am contacting you from the Vodacom cancellations department regarding... premature cancellation... you will be liable for the payment of the remainder of the months as your contract is only due to end 7th of November 2015.
I replied and explained the story. There has been no reply.
I am extremely frustrated.
