I am a subscriber to a MTN Data package. I have 4 mobile devices that I use to connect to the internet. I use the Internet to do work and business. Unfortunately the 3G signal at my residence is very bad and I experience hours of frustration to do simple Internet searches. The 3G signal range between two bars to zero and then onto Edge. The two bar 3G signal lasts only when I don't do any searches. the moment I start to do a search it drops to Edge. I have contacted the Coverage Helpdesk of MTN on 12 November 2013 and registered a request, f# 59193. I was informed that it will take not less than 10 or 11 workdays before I will receive some feedback as to what can be done to improve the signal. As from then I have received no feedback from MTN, although I have made a number of attempts to contact them. I was told that a William handled my request I have received no call from William. I tried to speak with a manager but no joy. Every time I called i was informed that William is busy with a customer or that he doesn't answer his phone. I wanted to speak to the manager Shane Nel but even he was unavailable and did not come back to me as was promised. Now almost 3 Months.
