Written quote cancelled

Wanted to cancel my contract after 24months as cell c was offering a better price. Then they asked if I would stay if they offered me a iPhone 5c on smart s with extra 100mins for free and extra 1gig of data for free (175min, 1, 2gig data). Of course I said yes and got the order number, tracking number and email confirmation which I signed and emailed back the same day.

3 days later when the phone was supposed to be delivered, nothing was delivered, so I phone retensions again only to find out it was in back order... Fair enough.

Then three days later again I phoned to check in the progress and they still weren't sure when they would get stock, but " they could change the color for me and have it delivered in two days". So I agreed,

Next thing I know the whole order is cancelled because" they can't put that much in the contract for that price" and no-one cares that u have a signed acceptance of quote in my possession!!!

Really unprofessional and sounds illegal to me according to the consumer act!!!
