I called 8ta's call centre the beginning of December 2013 to find out how I go about cancelling my contract, that was due to end on 16th Jan 2014. I was informed that I needed to fill out the Request for Contract & Service Cancellation form & email it to [Email Removed] I was also instructed to do this a month before the contract was due to expire. On the 13th Dec I emailed the form to Retainme. On the 19th Dec I received an email from a Mr or Mrs KC stating that they had received my email & someone would contact me, reference no: 7261164. On the 3rd of Jan I still had heard nothing, so I called 8ta call centre again to ask the status of my account but was told it was still active & they didn't know anything about the cancellation as yet. I then email KC at Retainme again to ask them what was happening & heard nothing. On the 12th Jan they switched off my data service & it remains off until today. On the 1st Feb they debited my account. I called in on the 3rd Jan & was told my account is still active & I should email Retainme again as you can't call them, which I did on the 3rd Feb, saying I wanted a response within 24hrs. I got an automatic reply but have heard nothing since.
