Since early 2009 I am contract subscriber with MTN and I randomly check my unbilled statement. So on Jan 2, 2014 I logged a query after i was shocked to see a charge of about R2500 (REQ:3194829) that query couldn't be completed as I had to wait for the bill to be finalized, so I barred my number. No contact was made and I had to contact mtn again on the 22nd and followup with support and they advise that the query had been lodged on the day (my bill closes on the 20th) so 2 days later - as my bill was finalised I therefore made a second query for an itemised billing (REQ:3168524). Followed on 28th and till today I am still to see any actions on my queries. I contacted support now was advised to contact them back at 2PM. Why do we as client have to run after providers, I always pay on time and I have a high average spend and suddenly I get a bill for data that is 3 times higher than my calls bill, that is ludacris and for over a month I am not getting resolution or a simple itemised bill. It would appear loyalty means little to you and I quite certain another provider would appreciate my business. I am extremely infuriated with MTN. I haven't been using their network since :(
