Cancelling Contract due to poor service

I have been so disappointed with Cell C in total. Yes their contracts are cheap, but the reception is very poor, and the customer services are worse. In December I logged a complaint to indicate that the reception in the area I am staying in is poor. In January I logged another complaint that the reception is poor. Nothing happened to resolve. I decided to pay my contract in full, in order to cancel it, and move to Vodacom. I have completed the form, and made the payment in full, and e-mailed it off. I have been trying for two and half weeks for someone to advise the status. On Friday, 31 January a person in the Cell C Customer Care called Mandla advised n Friday morning that my contract would be on a prepaid number by 15h00. Nothing happened. I followed this up again, 4 February. The customer care department let me be placed on hold for 2, 5 hrs. I was advised to speak to Jakes van Schalkwyk, and only he can see that my number is taken to a prepaid. I tried to get hold of him, and he assured me around 17h00 that the number will be able to port in 80sec. I just called him again 5 Feb 09h50, and still waiting for a call back for the status. Very frustrated with Cell C!
