My husband and I needed to move houses and obviously we needed to reconnect the Internet at our new house. Therefore a week before moving we contacted Telkom in order to have the line transferred to the new house. I am a small business owner and work from home and having my Internet running is paramount to being able to get my work done. I was therefore promised that by the 2nd of February the Internet will be up and running and it's literally a matter of plug and play.

Now let me mention the fact that in order to transfer the line I had to call four times on the 10210 number and on each call I waited for 45 minutes where after the line cuts off. On the 2nd when we were finally settled in there was no Internet. The telephone worked but that's about it. So on Monday morning we duly started calling again. Each call we had to hold for an operator for over 30 min and we made a lot of calls.
We were shunted from pillar to post only to be told that we may possibly have a working line only next week. We have been given numerous different reasons why we have no Internet. I am currently losing my income and who will reimburse me. This is disgusting.
