ROAMING RIP - OFF and Pathetic Service!!

I recently went to Namibia over the December holidays I phoned MTN asking them what i need to do as I would like to roam. They told me no problem all I have to do is sign a form to activate the service. I got a blank email with a form attached to signed. Trustingly I signed the form and mailed it back to them trusting all is in order.
I was in Namibia for three weeks. I made two phone calls and received one. On Chirstmas day I sent a couple whats app messages and during the three week I was twice on my internet banking. Costs??? approx R9000.00!!! They also barred my phone so I cannot use it currently. When I question it they explain its data costs. Data costs apparently 10x normal cost while roaming this was never explained to me and also in any event I did not use my phone that much. Apparently they believe the phone sync and did other updates on its own. Still the charges does not make sense some is R400 for 12min and a second one is R7.60 for 13min?
Also roaming charges has continued for another two weeks even after my return? My phone is locked already 3 weeks and they tell me there is another 30day back log I have to wait???

Please help this is unacepptable customer servi
