I went in store to apply for an adsl line and it was completed 22 January, in Eastgate. On Friday, 24th January I receive a sms (ref92875427) saying that I must fetch my modem the line is activated. I fetch it on Saturday and they tell me everything is in order and I collect the modem. Upon trying to install my modem, the DSL LED keeps flashing and hence I cannot connect to the internet. I phone 10210 on Sunday and they say I must phone on Monday. I phone on Monday, for 45 minutes, I am put through to 3 different people and none can tell me when this issue will be resolved and the one person I am speaking to puts down the phone on me. 1 person says my line isn't activated. I receive the same activated adsl sms and then receive my username. my Telkom line is being crossed with another line. I phone again and get out through to someone else who reports my fault and says a technician will be here to check within 2days. Today I phone and ask them to check on my reference number and they tell me it is not valid. They go on to say that my order is pending... if my line is waiting to be processed how did I get my modem and the smses? Disgusting service! And now I have to wait again!!!
