Fault Logging System does not work!!!

I reported a fault on my ADSL line on the 17th of February 2013. Up till now Telkom has not responded. I phoned 10210 to check up on my fault report, and lo and behold they tell me that my reference number is not valid. Yet I have an email from Telkom SUpport with the reference number!!! (ref#259521) The technician Anesh insists that my modem is at fault, and that they will charge me a call out fee if the line is ok. On all the other occasions that the internet service has stopped, it has been Telkom that was responsible, not my modem. Settings dont miraculously change themselves. Just a ridiculous level of service!
