I am extremely disappointed with 8ta/Telkom Mobile. I opened an LTE 10GB data account with them late last year and part of the conditions of the contract was that:

- they will check and confirm the LTE signal strength in my address. They confirmed that there is LTE signal there.
- I was given 14-days to guarantee on the functionality of the device. It worked in the first month with no issues.
I then experienced issues around November 2013 and I logged a call (ref: 7118178) and the technician came BUT with the wrong signal tester (3G tester instead of the LTE tester). We agreed that he will come back of the following week but on the day my phone died and i could not get his call. instead of buzzing my unit, he decided to leave and my call was closed without confirming with me again.

I have since tried to re-open the call 3 times now, the last time 19th of Jan 2013 BUT on all those times my call was closed. What angers me the most is that whoever closed that call said they could not reach me on my mobile. I have mentioned to them plenty times that my phone died. I even went to the Cresta branch to get clarity but I am still paying for service.
