Still Waiting for my land line

Went in to Telkom at Woodlands Mall on the 3rd of January to get a telkom landline. Was told it would take 7-14 days. Within that period a technician came out and said the line is in someone's yard he will need to reschedule. Went back to Woodlands and was told the 22nd Jan was the new date. That day came and went so I went back to woodlands and was told it was rescheduled for 29th. They took my order number and cell number but no one contacted me to have that date moved up. So the 28th I get a telkom sms saying my appointment will be the next day, have you id and certified copy handy and I must note it is an all day appointment. So I stayed home and they were a no show. Phone support and after being on hold for 8 minute was told it has been canceled for today because of workload. Does telkom really think I should wait for them at home and take another day off. Are they going to reimburse me for my time wasted by them? When will the next appointment be, in another week?
