On the 1st of June I went into the Telkom branch at Clearwater Mall and applied for residential Internet and WiFi. On the 6th of June I got the below message and a phone call from Telkom to confirm appointment. Dear Mrs. "CHRISTINA MUDAU, a Telkom technician has been dispatched to install your telephone line for your order (79645891) today. Please note that this is an all-day appointment. Your continued support is appreciated. For enquiries please call 10210. Regards, Telkom."
I took the day off to be at home, but no one came and no phone calls from Telkom. I called the call centre 5 times and spoke to Kanya, Jacky, Zanele and than to a very rude technician call Johan who told me he was given a wrong address and has returned the call. This morning I was promised that the technician will come and is on his way. I waited but no one came so I decided to call again and this time I was told my address is not on their data base and that they need to confirm with the municipal. Sharon who is the supervisor was very unpatient literally told me it is what its is I she cant change it. So I am still waiting and they cant say when it will be sorted
