Selective information provided and poor service!!

I recently got a call from Tekom and was told about their new internet package deal for new or excisting clients, the lady from their call centre was very friendly, yet only to discover that she did not fully disclose all information regarding the "free installation", apparenly its a "self service free installation" never heard of that! I then collected the Modem and the service we received from Telkom in Cape Town Adderley street was pathetic. No explanation how to install or that the Telkom cablr is only 1 metre. Upon discovering this I contacted 10210 and the lady whom answered pratically told me to re-arrange my house to accomodate the cable, 2ndly also told me if I don't want to do that, I need to apply for a new or seperate telkom line. I then spoke to Tabato and he politely apologized for the inconvenience cause and was upfront to tell me that I need to purchase a longer telkom cable. After all this hassles I want to cancel my Telkom account just because of this awful experience.
