7 working days installation to NO INSTALLATION!!!

We took a ADSL line package from Telkom Greenstone 26 December 2012. We were assured that installation will take place with in 7 working days. It's more than a month ago and still NOTHING!! Greenstone branch says the cannot not assist and we must phone Telkom. I keep on getting the following message on SMS: Dear Mrs. CHARLENE MAVIS VERBURG, For enquiries please call 10210. Regards, Telkom.
HOWEVER when you call this number there is no assistance!
Is this going to happen or should I go to another service provider???
