I went to Vodacom Grove mall in the beginning of Jan for my upgrade, I requested an HTC One. The sales person told me it would be three working days (From the Tuesday 7 Jan) and he will order the phone immediately. On the Friday when I got there the phone was never ordered. A different sales person told me, that he would place an order but because of low stock it could take up to 2 weeks. Today the 28th of Jan, I was told probably another 2 weeks. We then asked the manager to show us proof that the phone was ordered, but only got a sneering response.

Why does vodacom advertize the HTC one in every booklet etc, If they don't have stock, and don't know when they will ever have stock? Also why make promises if you cant keep them.

I have been a loyal vodacom subscriber for 12 years. It is this sort of rubbish, that causes customers to leave!
