My account handed over without warning

Last year in May i took a laptop contract with MTN and i paid it faithfully until September when i lost my job and i went to the MTN outlet in Westgate Mall to report it and i was informed that if i dont make payments for 6months my account will be handed over, i happily received a job recently and went straight to MTN to make arrangements to pay for the arrears and continue with my contract and i was informed that my account was handed over i thought i had 6months??? - i am not happy about this because it can affect my chance of being permanently employed where i am now because of an incompetent and clueless agents that are situated in the MTN outlets who are suppose to educate us about their products but they are just as clueless as we are the consumers. How do they MTN employ
