Autopage steals and wants me to end

I have had an account with Autopage for close to 10 years if not more. About 5 years ago I added a secondary line to my account. When the contract I expired I informed Autopage that I did not wish to renew it. Early last year I noticed my bill had gone up and I informed Autopage. They insisted that I had renewed the contract which I had not. They promised to investigate and sort the matter our. Last week I call to follow up on the investigation and I am told that basically there is no investigation if I want one I must go to the police!!! Autopage has been from me for about a year and they are refusing to take responsibility. Whenever I call I hear "your call may be recorded" why don't they just go to those recording and do a voice check and compare the signature on the delivery note with my signature? I took out my contract over the phone because I did not want to be going around pushing papers and now that they've messed up they want me to sort it out? That is just wrong!!
