Cell phone purchased on contract - one week late

I took out a contract with vodacom or an iphone 5c (because they did not have stock of the 5s). 4 days later my screen lifted and and was unable to hear. i handed the phone in, it has taken a week for the phone to get from sandton to head office. i was told that there was a back log of phones. i am not interested in the back log. i have requested that contract be cancelled and new one be taken out and have been told the phone Will be repaired. i do not want this handset. if it breaks only 4 days after purchasing it, i have very little faith in the repair. i use phone for business and i am loosing business because of the terrible service. i have also asked for the 5s and l will pay the different in on the monthly subs.
