Afrihost is just as bad as Telkom

My experience with Afrihost started really well but this is now going downhill very quick. The recent service is just as bad as Telkom and the attitude of the agents I've been dealing with is terrible. Basic questions regarding their processes and procedures are sidestepped. The responses received seem that I should be grateful for the substandard connection that I am receiving. I pay for a uncapped 10mb line and my current speed is between 3-4mb. Apparently this COULD be a result of high download usage (which based on records Afrihost as never shaped me) OR an issue with the Telkom exchange (which seems to be correct as I am on an exchange that is 4kms away even though there is one down the road from me).

Further to this, the consultant advised that line speed tests (that afrihost request you do) and download tests are not a clear indication of line speed. If this is not, what is?

On my last communication, this is an extract from the email "... This implies that there is no data issue AND for GDMT, 4 Mg on the DL is excellent...
I am afraid that I can no longer comment on this issue as there is no fault ."

If there is to be a response from Afrihost, I prefer an email.
