After numerous calls, still no results!!!

On the 13th August 2013 I applied for a contract through Vodacom's online service, I was later contacted by a call centre agent and after she took down all my details, I was informed I have been approved for the contract and that I will receive my phone by no later than Friday, 16th August. After phoning the call centre on Friday, I was advised that the order is still with the confirmations department and was assured that they will contact me soonest. After phoning on Monday and Tuesday (with the same results) I was only informed on Wednesday, that they are waiting to confirm employment and the numbers provided were wrong. After giving them the correct numbers, I was assured that they will contact me within 24 hours. I phoned again this morning after the '24 hour window' lapsed and was informed that it is still with the confirmations department. I am not only extremely upset with the hold up (surely they could have picked up on Friday that the number was wrong?!?!), but also annoyed - does Vodacom not want me to take out one of their contracts? I have been a loyal Vodacom customer since getting my first phone but if this carries on, I am sure Cell C or MTN would value my business..
