Telkom waisting my annual leave - still no line

I have ordered my ADSL line and telephone line last year December, to start working from home. I have taken 4 days of annual leave on various occasions to have my line installed after receiving the SMS for installation. They only pitched the first time. There was a problem at the exchange which I was assured it was sorted on Wednesday and installation will happen today when I visited the Woodlands Branch when they phoned technical. My case was escalated 4 times and nobody phoned me once.

Apparently the exchange problem is still not sorted. Why different stories the whole time??? Why do nobody phone? Escalations included? Why have an escalation process and nobody bothers?

The call center agent just threw the phone down in my ear when I asked her how I can go about getting this mess sorted or escalated.

Not to mention all the cellphone minutes I have burnt to get this line installed, what else can I do or speak to, to have this sorted?

Its a crying shame that we are getting for services in this country, and the service providers simply getting away with poor or no service delivery. Does nobody take any pride in their work or service these days?

I need to work! Please!
