I have been waiting since October for my ADSL business line to be transferred to new premises. I have heard endless excuses as to why the line isn't being installed. First the exchange had a problem which was sorted out. Then they arrive to install to say there are no cables. I have been telling useless Telkom 10217 there are no cables since November and while they sort out the exchange problem they should sort out the cables simultaneously, but I guess Telkom doesn't know how to do more than one thing at a time?
I have escalated thus order three times. When called 10217 last night I was advised by Ulanda that there is no escalation... Telkom conveniently erases all evidence of escalations despite me having the escalation numbers.
There is even a previous escalation done through hellopeter!
Think it's time to lodge a complaint with ICASA due to Telkoms incompetence in delivering services which they are licensed to do. The more complaints ICASA has the quicker local loop unbundling will happen and we won't have to rely on Telkom for no service!!!
