I applied for a fixed line, Adsl, upcapped service from Telkom in Jul13.
Telkom suggested a WCDMA/3G wireless router. The router was R1000 & the contract was 10GB for R199pm
Then the RIPOFF STARTED
In Aug13 the bill was /- R5500, then the Sept13 bill was /- R4500.
I queried the bill in Sep13, I was told the charges were for OUT OF BUNDLE (this was the 1st time I heard about OUT OF BUNDLE)
When I signed up for the wireless router no where in the contract is there any mention about OUT OF BUNDLE.
I was told in an email that the Telkom Consultant should have explained it to me.
The first bill was reversed because the 2nd bill was not available yet. Both should have been reversed.
I have had no internet since 1st Nov13, & no incoming or outgoing calls since 13th Dec13, yet I have been paying R199pm for 10GB & R138pm for a line but NOT receiving any service.
I received a letter of demand on the 21st Jan14 for the amt of R4567.
